Students of the D. Banzarov Buryat State University win at The Russian Student Spring Festival
The team from D. Banzarov Buryat State University, performing at the “Student Spring” Festival in the city of Perm, performed eight spots (the Republic presented 13 performances overall).
Students of our University brought 6 awards from the all-Russian stage of the festival.
The winners are:
Dance Studio "Dart crew" – 1st place;
Ethnic Studio "Ayadon" – 2nd place;
Lev Zimin-2nd place;
Ayuna Dashdemirova – 2nd place ;
Ballroom dance Studio "Effect" – 3rd place;
Catherine Bulgatova – 3rd place.

In Perm we received a warm welcome. All participants of the festival, almost 3000 people, were stationed at balneal resort Ust-Kachka.
Creative performances of students from Buryatia were deserving and the jury liked them. They even expressed their regret that Buryatia didn't perform with folk dancing this year. Our guys did a great job, they really tried hard. The fact that our 6 performances became laureates of the festival, that is, took the highest awards of the all-Russian competition, is very cool, and we were so happy that the professional jury of RSSF appreciated our work so highly. Our group " Dart Crew", besides taking the 1st place, were awarded to participation in the final of the International Student Spring Festival of BRICS and SCO countries, which will take place from June 4th to 9th in Stavropol.
Rector of BSU N.I. Moshkin met with the laureates of the Russian Student Spring Festival 2019.
Mr Moshkin congratulated the artists who represented not only their alma mater, but the whole Republic on the federal level.
The students said what prizes and awards they received at the Russian Student Spring Festival, about their performances, which were distinguished of creativity and identity:
ethno-rock, solo singing in such a unique form as throat singing, and aerial gymnastics.
But even in such popular styles as street dance, competitive ballroom dancing, in which there was serious competition, talented students of BSU were able to achieve success and show the highest level, and also get a vivid unforgettable experience and gain even more confidence in themselves.
The Rector was surprised to find out how busy our artists are: almost all the students who attended the meeting with the Rector were to perform in the evening with the ethnic studio "Ayadon", the next day go to Tuva, where the guys would share their experiences with their Tuvan colleagues, Catherine Bulgatova was going on tour with the Buryat Circus, and the "Dart Crew" dance studio were going to Stavropol in early June for the international festival. These guys find time for everything, but, first of all, to study, and to study well!
