Foreign students of BSU at Broad Maslenitsa in the Ethnographic Museum

On March 6, foreign students of the Institute of Philology, Foreign Languages and Mass Communications visited the Ethnographic Museum of the Transbaikalian Peoples, where the Broad Maslenitsa was celebrated that day.
Merry festivities in honor of seeing off the Russian winter could not leave our students indifferent. A fascinating action allowed everyone to plunge into the atmosphere of the old Russian holiday with its traditions and color. The foreign students took an active part in Russian folk games, danced a quadrille and, of course, tried the main dish of Maslenitsa – pancakes.
Undoubtedly, this event allowed the foreign students to plunge into the rich world of Russian culture and traditions, broaden their knowledge on folk holidays, and get acquainted with the Russian national communicative behavior.
