Solemn Rally at BSU in Honor of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

On May 7, a solemn rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held at Buryat State University!

Students, faculty, and staff gathered to honor the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for the peaceful skies over our Motherland.

Respected veterans and the renowned veterans’ choir delivered heartfelt speeches and warm congratulations!

Another significant event was the unveiling of a memorial plaque in honor of Dorzhi Bahanovich Vasilyev, a brave participant of the Great Patriotic War and a long-time teacher at our university.

The rally concluded with a touching flower-laying ceremony at the monument dedicated to BSU teachers—heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

We remember the feat of our ancestors, take pride in their courage and resilience! A deep bow to all veterans!
