The first day of the official visit of vice-rectors of higher education institutions of Mongolia to Buryatia

On April 28, a meeting of the official delegation from Mongolia consisting of vice-rectors of the country's leading universities was held at the Buryat State University named after D. Banzarov. The purpose of their visit is related to the preparation for the Forum of Rectors of Russia and Mongolia, which will be held on July 4-6 this year in Ulan-Ude.

The head of the official Mongolian delegation is the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the Mongolian State University of Science and Technology (SHUTIS) Danjkhuu Tsolmonbaatar.

The delegation includes: Professor of the Mongolian National University of Science and Technology Dash Oyuntsetseg, Vice-Rector for Research and Cooperation of the Mongolian National University (MUIS) Sundev Gombobaatar, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of the National University of Medical Sciences (ASUMS) Tsolmon Bilegtsaikhan, Vice-Rector for Research and Cooperation of the Mongolian National University of Education (MUBIS) Batmend Khoroldagva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Mongolian National University of Culture and Arts (MUCA) Dagmid Odsuren and Director of the Department of Research and Innovation of the Mongolian National University of Agriculture (KHAAIS) Erdentsogt Tomortogtokh.

Their program of stay is very busy, a lot of joint work is ahead to prepare for the upcoming Forum. BSU Rector A.V. Damdinov warmly greeted the vice-rectors of Mongolian universities and expressed gratitude for their high interest in the Forum and cooperation in scientific and educational spheres in general. At this meeting, the rector of BSU also announced that the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov would attend the Forum.
