May 16 was a busy day at Changchun Polytechnic University (CPU), which will be remembered for many significant events. As part of the continuation of the already 20-year cooperation between the universities, the agreement on the network education program was prolonged, which opens new opportunities for students and teachers from both sides. This agreement will deepen academic ties and broaden horizons for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
One of the highlights of the day was the awarding of the title of Honorary Professor of the CNC to BSU Rector Damdinov A.V. This recognition emphasizes the importance and significance of mutual cooperation between educational institutions, as well as a high assessment of BSU's contribution to the development of education and science in the region.
An important part of the program was a meeting with the leadership of the Department of Education of Jilin Province, headed by Deputy Chief Mr. Zhou Zhengchao. Discussion of topical issues of education, as well as the prospects of joint projects was the main topic of the meeting.
The culmination of the day was the opening by Mr. Zhang Baozong, First Secretary of the Party Committee of Changchun Polytechnic University, of the Festival of Student Art of Chinese-Russian Universities in Jilin Province within the framework of the Year of Culture of Russia and China 2025. This event brought together students, faculty and staff from 13 universities in Changchun city. The concert became not only a platform for demonstrating the talents of students from partner universities, but also a symbol of cultural exchange between our countries. Music and dances united the participants, creating an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation.
The visit of the delegation and student ensemble “Baikal gems” of our university headed by rector A.V. Damdinov to Changchun Polytechnic University became an important step towards strengthening educational and cultural ties.
